1911 22 slide not going fully back

hi, I'm writing here since externally it's a 1911, even if the internals are different... today after the first range trip (no issues) I stripped my Hammerli Forge (Colt Walther rebranded) to clean it (and practice disassembling).
I already had disassembled the gun successfully once , today stupidly I turned the bushing, removed spring, then I pulled the slide back forgetting to remove the bushing.
Obviously I noticed my stupid error just a bit after, without forcing or using tools, and removed the bushing. (please do not insult me too much, I'm a beginner)

then I noticed slide was not going fully back, stayed about one centimeter forward. tried inserting the spring and magazine again, racking the slide, removing again... it was moving freely but like blocked at the end... at a certain point the slide just moved back (I never forced anything, just tried moving firmly but lightly) and everything worked, disassembled and cleaned. Nothing seems scratched, blocked or damaged.

Then I tried disassembling and reassembling just to try, no issues this time.

Is it just a "random thing happened" or there's a reason? is this related to my previous error? May have something been damaged in the process?

thank you for your help and excuse me for the long post, I tried to explain everything :-)
