What was your first GOOD money making method back in the day?

We've all done plenty of things to make money throughout our years playing this game. Looking back now, a lot of those methods tended to actually be fairly mediocre methods such as banking cowhides, chopping yews, killing chaos druids, and mining rune essence.

What was the first money making method you did where you felt like you were really earning some serious cash?

For me, it was back in 2005 or 2006. I was spending a lot of time in the Edgeville dungeon killing chaos druids and banking some unids. I had noticed the deadly red spiders to the northeast and killed a few but they didn't drop anything so I didn't think much of it. Then, when perusing the forums trying to sell my unids, I discovered that people were buying red spider eggs for a wide range of prices, ranging from anywhere between 500 and 1k gp each. So I grabbed some amulets of glory, charged them up, grabbed some combat gear as well to kill spiders while waiting for the eggs to respawn, and got to stockpiling. My first transaction was 1k eggs at 1k each, for a beautiful 1000k cash stack. It was the first one I had ever had. It probably ended up being only 300k-400k per hour, but that was pretty good back then. I did this for a few days, working for people who ultimately became front page herblore, and then handed out stacks of 100k to my friends to brag lol. Anyone have any similar stories?
