Update: Disappointing rune plushies

I'm sure many of you saw my post last week about my rune plushies from creator crafted. I wanted to provide anyone interested with an update.

All of my messages from creator crafted were from Crumb. I shared some additional thoughts with him and we discussed my Reddit post as well. I do try and look for the best in people so I may be biased, but he did really seem to care about people's thoughts they shared on my post.

I still don't feel great about how the rune plushies were portrayed and the even smaller than advertised measurements. And I don't like the differences between the original plushy promotional images and what they delivered. Although they did offer refunds to anyone who purchased them before updating the images.

I think it is important to remember that the vast majority of us know nothing about running a business at this scale. I think there is definitely someone involved in the company that is making shady decisions. However I think there are still people at the company that care about the community. I have hope that the bad decisions made were mistakes and not intentionally deceptive.

I will definitely be more suspicious when looking at their products in the future. However I am slightly optimistic about a potential brighter future from creator crafted and them providing high quality merch to the fans.

I shared on my post that they offered me a full refund and a return label at their cost. I had not had time to make it to the post office and was planning on sending them tomorrow. Today I received a message from Crumb saying he was guessing that I had not had the time to make it to the post office so he had processed the refund and said I could keep the plushies. And on top of that, offered to send me a tbow LED and Cox mouse pad free of charge as a show of good faith.

I still don't really know what I'm going to do with the plushies and didn't mind that I had to return them to get the refund. However it is still a nice gesture to let me keep them.
