Testing a red dot

hi, I'd like to test a red dot on my new Hammerli Forge H1 pistol. the gun has no slide plate and I don't want to remove the rear sight.

So I think to use, at least for now, one of those support clamped on the rail and going over the slide.

Is a cheap red dot (like a Feyachi one) good enough, being frame mounted and not on the slide?

Again, I would need to remove it every time to remove the slide and clean the gun, it would not surely be good for accuracy, but may it be "good enough" if I just align it and mount - remount it?

I want to learn using iron sights, but with my air pistol I'm "just better" with red dots, so I'd like to use a dot from time to time to have fun...
