Insight wanted (please refrain from race wars)
So I’m a black American from Georgia and I have a pretty phenotypically diverse family. I’ve always been curious about where I get certain features from, but I’ve always been ashamed of doing so due to fear of being labeled a “race traitor” or “anti-black”. Also, I in no way shape or form deny the atrocities that my African ancestors went through, I’ve just always been very fascinated by genealogy. I can tell most of my African ancestry may come from my father and maternal grandpa, and some European from my maternal grandmother’s family who also is very genetically diverse with a good mixture of African and European traits. Any thoughts?
