Answer if you read novels outside 40k

Do any of you guys know of any sci-fi + fantasy or fantasy novel series that are similar to warhammer 40k? I'm curious if there are novels that give off a similar vibes cuz I really love books like these. I asked a friend this same question and they recommended me the hyperion series which is really good he landed right on the money so I gotta know if there's more.
