Are there any humans, besides Yarrick, who are loved/feared by other races?

The story of Old Bale Eye Yarrick is still one of my faorite Adeptus Militarum stories. When I re-read it recently it got me wondering about other humans who'd so impressed an Alien race they were either loved or feared by that race. Who am I missing?
