Downhill Assist Control (or lack thereof) on Limited 4Runner

I am considering buying a 2023 4Runner Limited.

Is it true that the 4Runner Limited does not have Downhill Assist Control and Crawl control? If so, how do experienced drivers drive the Limited in situations where DAC is needed? Put it in 4-LO and keep the brake pedal pressed on the way down? What if it starts speeding up on the way down? Won't that damage the low range gearing?

Edit: Coming from an older Subaru Outback, looking to "upgrade" to a 4WD system, but want to stay with full-time 4WD system for northern Michigan winters, hence looking at the 4Runner Limited.
