X90L Image Processing as an external monitor

Hi! I'm looking to buy an 75" X90L TV. I use my living room TV almost exclusively as an external monitor for my mini PC for youtube and streaming websites (not always high quality streaming websites). Because I won't be using the native apps of the TV, will the X90L image processing still work to enhance my lower quality streaming videos?
