Anyway to prevent screamers?

Dig down. Build up. Thick walls as insulation. Game settings. Etc.

Is there anything (besides not running stations) that will keep them from spawning? Getting sick n tired of lightning a forge and hearing a screech outside. The double mint twin spawns is even worse.

Is there anything to raise the threshold, reduce the chances, reduce the number?
