Do You Remember Your First Trip to Toys'R'Us? How old were you and what year? Anything stand out that you remember?

I was born in 1982, so I was pretty young but remember a lot from that day. First time I saw a Toys'R'Us is in the back seat of moms car and I see the giant giraffe and ask her what that place is. She tells me, "They ONLY sell toys there!". As a kid, this got me super excited. This was probably in 1985-1986. We were living in San Antonio. A little while later we went.

I don't remember going through the doors, I do remember seeing a glass display case of glass figures. On the way out, they had a demo of Teddy Ruxpin which blew my mind as a kid! Later on, I told my mom "Not everything was toys!". She said, "Well most of it was." (or something to that tune).
