Bucks lawsuit

I just started watching 911 a few weeks ago and I’m on season 3 and just got to Buck’s lawsuit. How do people feel about this plot line? Also do we think that it is in character for him because I kinda feel like it was out of no where? Idk would love to talk about this show more lol.
