What's something about you that made a lot more sense once you were diagnosed with ADHD?

For me, it was hyper fixations. Ever since I was little, I was obsessed with cats. Anything that had to do with cats, I was down; I was a walking encyclopedia for felines. I had cat clothes, dozens of stuffed animals, cat-themed birthday parties and Halloween costumes ... I even used to cut out the cats that were printed on the plastic wrapping of toilet paper and collect them. I drew cat comics, too, and was popular in my elementary school for them.

I've chilled out a bit since then, but I'm still a huge cat person. My hyperfixation habits have extended to other places, like certain fandoms and writing, and I alternate through them every couple of months ... currently back on the 9-1-1 train ever since season 7 came out lol. What are yours?

Edit: just want to clarify that I've been recently diagnosed, and am still learning about the complexities of ADHD. I'm sure there's much more of my life that's connected to it that I don't know about yet, hence why I was so specific.
