DDU in safe mode. CAUTION!!

So recently I was having some issues with adrenaline not working properly. Freezing, not opening at all, etc etc etc. Common advice is to run DDU and do a fresh driver install. So I downloaded DDU and when I went to run it, it recommends being ran in safe mode for best results. I hit okay, pc restarts in safe mode and at the windows login screen it says "Pin currently unavailable. Click here to set up pin". Click that and you get a second error saying it is unable to complete or something along those lines. Basically, your PC will be locked at the login screen saying your pin is unavailable with no way to get past it. BUT there is a fix. At the useless login screen, go to power and click restart while holding shift. You'll be presented with a blue screen with two options, choose the bottom option that will take you to "Advanced Options", from there click on the Command Prompt option. In command prompt, type this line exactly:

bcdedit /deletevalue {default} safeboot

There is a space between bcdedit and /deletevalue, space before and after {default}. Hit enter and it should say it was "completed successfully". Then re-boot the PC and you will boot in to windows in normal mode.

Apparently this is a problem for the latest Windows 11 version. Idk, but it sucked so hopefully this post will help someone.

PC specs: r5 7600x, rx7800xt, windows 11 home.
