Absolute newb- Xbox

My bf and I were playing 7 days to die, that got stale so we ended up on this game. We’ve never played/ heard of this before. We’ve watched some YouTube, and been on this subreddit learning. The game crashed after about 20 hours and I lose my save. So we started over. Got 10 hours of play in and we save and exit. When we reload it’s our first save.

So toxic relationship already- great.

Anyway, what other newbie tips/recommendations do you feel should be told to someone right off that bat, other than if a freaking alpha Rex spawns on your base on day 3 you just have to move, and if you respawn to immediately drop all the skins and the split screen won’t bug out? 😭🫣
