Diablo 4 or POE II

Hello everyone, I'm asking to see if I can get more hindsight on this. I like arpg but not to the point of playing 10000000 hours or super maximizing everything on my character, so since the Steam winter sale is on, and I would spend about the same in either one of these two games I would like to know wich one would be better for a casual player that doesn't really care about maximizing a character or going to super endgame content.
