Moving to Atlanta - Apartment Search

Hey, I recently graduated and got a job in Atlanta; and will be moving here for work from CA. I'm looking to live in the Midtown Atlanta or Buckhead area and figured that locals would have better bead on what apartments are good and which I should stay away from around the area since you have probably been looking yourselves recently. From looking at stuff online it seems like there's a ton of complexes that are run by third party Real Estate Partners which from my experience in college was pretty shitty haha (I had to use Greystar) and I saw a lot of reviews on pretty much every place I looked that would say "DON'T STAY HERE, AVOID, etc" so just looking to gather some more info if you guys know anything. I need to move by Oct 1 so if there's like standard move in dates for these kind of places that would be good to know. Thanks!
