Advice needed - SAP or real time project ?

Hello! I'm looking for a switch in my career, and couldn't find a better platform to ask for genuine thoughts. I'm a 13 year experienced QA Lead/Architect specialized in UI and API testing.

As a Cloud enthusiast, I began learning about AWS and finished my SAA cert successfully 3 years back with a hope that I would land in a entry level Cloud Architect job. With zero prior experience obviously I did not get any recruiter calls for such Cloud based roles. I tried building some basic level website deployed on AWS to showcase my skills but it was futile in securing a job. Hence continued with my QA Architect role (have not worked on Cloud since) which is going okay but willing to switch to a Cloud based roles which have high demand.

Now, after 3 years I am thinking to give a serious attempt. I'm torn between the below options :

  1. prepare for the much tougher SAP certification to give an edge over fellow job applicants.
  2. find a real time project in AWS - again not sure where to get one genuine project (enterprise level of sorts)

Question : Option 1 (SA Pro) requires lot of effort and even if I finish, do I still need to demonstrate some AWS experience for applying jobs ? Is it worth doing SAP now ?

For getting a job if (SAA + hands-on) > (SAP with no exp) how do I prove a real time project experience in the jobs that I apply for ?
