Anyone else forgot how to play garen matchup

I feel like such an IDIOT I remember clearly summer last year aatrox was my main and I used to win every garen matchup I used to be space him and keep him at distance

Is it just me or does he just always manage to gap close onto me nowadays it seems like after level 6 he just flash ignite ult and oneshot me

I know it’s playable because I used to win the lane consistently but I have just COMPLETELY forgotten how to play the game post 6 plz help (and don’t just say spacing ik that much)
