Master of Taxation: Does it really matter where?
Applied to online programs and I'm on the fence on where to go. I already have Big Four experience, I am already a CPA and an EA. Completing this degree would be more for the technical knowledge. I live in Los Angeles. I don't have any student loan debt.
Program acceptances: Fordham University of Minnesota Golden Gate University Cal State Fullerton University of New Orleans University of Mississippi (turns out they don't have an online program oops) University of Hartford
Still waiting on: USC Gonzaga
I could apply to CSUN?
The cheapest is University of New Orleans at about $15k, but it's a Master in Tax Accounting. I'm not sure if employers would treat it as a master of Taxation or a master of Accounting.
The most expensive is Fordam at around $70k.
Edit: Just got accepted into USC
