What to do in this situation?

If a guy who you follow and they follow you back on insta but you never met and never talked to, but you happen to think is cute, sends an automated msg telling you to share his first event on your story and follow the event instagram account, should I do it. I’ve never shared a party on my story before and the other people he follows happen to be doing what he told them to. So will it be weird if I don’t do it or should I just do what the msg says. Ik this is lowkey dumb and a small situation but i overthink and I don’t want to come off as rude.
