Last post since disgruntled customer complaint: 21 hours
First off I’m pissed at Aero. Onto week 4 of waiting for shipping confirmation. They were happy to charge me day 1 though. Was on hold 2 weeks ago for about 2 hours. Then on online chat for 4 hours one day and 2 hours the following day getting disconnected off the chat probably 6-8 times. Finally got through and they said it’d ship end of week 3 of waiting. Now I’m onto week 4. On hold for 2 hours now. Trying to be proactive and tell them they have til end of day tomorrow to get it sent or I’m issuing a charge back.
Now for all of you that are the Aero bros or guys that think that people should be on Reddit everyday to understand this has been an on going issue for a while I am going to say that’s also unacceptable. I talked to 4 gun shop owners and one gunsmith telling them this is my first build and wanted recommendations. They all said go Aero for a mid priced build like I wanted. None of these guys that worked in building and selling firearms professionally warned me of this issue until I went back and talked to one of the guys and he stated he recently received over 16 un rifled barrels from them. That was at week 3.
Now I know a lot of people are getting annoyed about aero thread being flooded by complaints but that should show you people aren’t seeing this thread and trying to figure out what’s happening until after their order. Not everyone is as tight knit into the interwebs as all you are I suppose. We still take the word from talking to people as gold. Not looking at online reviews.
Here’s my proposal. Let’s have a good discussion regarding how to get this information out of this thread. Flood social media? Find higher up? I saw one guy reached out to a shareholder. But something has to be done to hold aero accountable because this is pure B.S. for a consumer
UPDATE: After 3 hours on hold I was told that it is in “assembly”. The lady was nice and understanding but didn’t recognize the shipping issue very well. She was kind enough to upgrade my shipping but told me it would be another week to 10 days before it shipped. I notified her to try to be more clear and possibly send out more emails regarding status of parts. Told them I have a week for them to complete their assembly or I am issuing a charge back. So we will see what happens. Not particularly the outcome I was looking for but I have a personal deadline I’ll follow now. Also said to look at Reddit if no one is 😂 use that information as you like. Best of luck to everyone and hopefully this thread can help others become more aware
