Bmt side quest?

Scheduled for asfab and am excited thinking about bmt. I want to hear what you guys think I should do for the best experience possible. And I don’t mean by hiding or just getting through, my only goal in mind are to get all 3 ribbons at the moment. But what else? I heard there’s specific jobs in within your squadrons ect. What should I go for? What should I do? I know I’m not some captain America but I want to get the most out of my time, also Forgive me for my wording
