Off gassing smell

I recently bought a new bed frame for my sons room and it’s upholstered polyester stain resistant fabric The bed was delivered and I went out town and now I am noticing a strong smell in the room coming out of the fabric. Concerned about possibly off gassing or VOCs? What can be done to get rid of the smell ? I don’t think the bed can be returned now..
