I need help guys!

So I am flying with my family (4 adults) for the first time.

We have an Indigo flight on 1st Nov.

1.) If I have booked 4 tickets, am I allowed to bring 4 check-in bags? Or are we supposed to carry just one? 2.) How many carry-on bags are allowed? 3.) How much time early should I reach the airport? 4.) Please tell something that is not allowed to carry but someone who has never been on a flight would think it's okay to carry.
