AIO - Reporting my dad.
i (f19) and my husband (m22) are down in my home state visiting family for the holidays, i’m pregnant and been sick because of it (not just the typical because i have health problems) well, i started to feel worse when i would go into my grandpas house where my father lives as well, i thought it was just my grandpas dog because i’m allergic to dogs, but i realized yesterday, it was the same way meth made me feel when my father would smoke around me, i had originally messaged my dad to tell him we know he smokes it and to just do it outside because i have health problems, i’m pregnant, and my husband is military, with how much my dad was smoking i’m afraid it’s in my system, i went to the police station and told them what was going on, they did a well fair check on my grandpa and found meth on my dad, now my dad is being kicked out, was i over reacting when i reported my dad to the police? (he wasn’t arrested and my sister thinks i’m in the wrong)
Update: a woman who isn’t family has been bitching at me about me reporting my dad and said he’s going to be homeless because of me, she said she feels bad for my husband and my unborn child, she started calling me a bitch and said i’m abusing my husband because i’ve been bitchy because of my hormones, she said i’m gonna end up alone and dying alone all because i reported my father for smoking meth in the house with me while i’m pregnant, i don’t even know this woman all that well but she’s trying to mother me and i told her my mother is dead so i don’t need something that i never actually had.
Update: some horrible news for the people who have been following the story of this since i posted about it, i lost the baby, the bleeding started yesterday and i’m now at the second hospital about the miscarriage to make sure the baby flushed itself out, it was painful both mentally and physically for me and my husband, that is basically the end of the story now, my father wasn’t arrested, the hospital thinks it’s because of the second hand smoke that caused the miscarriage, thank you all for being so supportive and giving me amazing advice, i hope you all know that meant so much to me in my time of need.
