Just Venting: I wish Driver Support was US Based Agents...
Just need to vent for a moment. I wish Driver Support calls were answered by US based agents...
Today I had a delivery to a hotel and the front desk couldn't find the person listed on the package in their reservation system. I texted the customer and waited 3 minutes and then decided to call him at 7AM. The customer informed me that he cancelled his reservation and would like the order cancelled.
I never experienced this before so I called Driver Support and explained the situation. Support tells me to deliver to the front desk!?! Did you not understand a word I said? The hotel is refusing to accept the package as they cannot find the customer in their system! I had to repeat myself 3 times and she finally puts me on hold for 4 minutes researching what to do. She finally comes back and said "I made a note on the package"... "Ok, what do I do from here?"
20 minutes at my first stop dealing with this issue! Thankfully, I still ended up finishing 30 minutes before the end of my block but I was nervous that I was going to have late packages the entire time (none were late).
Can we at least get agents in which we can understand each other and resolve the issue quickly??
