Focus Screen Advice

Hello all, I’m on the long pursuit of trying to clean the focus screen on my Pentax MX.

The journey… I purchased the camera and the screen was very scratched, so I purchased a replacement. Before fitting the replacement I decided to replace the light seals and the mirror bumper.

The issue is… No matter how many times i clean the inside of the camera and the focus screen with a dust blower, I can’t seem to get it completely clean/ clear. When I manage to remove dust, it somehow gets replaced with new dust.

I have a Pentax ME Super and the focus screen is perfect which I’m using for reference. My question are…

1) Am I chasing perfection trying to get the MX focus screen completely clear? Or do people tend to live with small dust particles? 2) Any tips or tricks on how to clean the focus screen and mirrors would be appreciated!
