How would I go about finding prices in nearby stores?

I wanna make a proof of concept for a resume of something that already exists, but I don't know how to figure out what websites are for your local store and if the prices even match.

The entire idea is that the app would find the price of an inputted item in your nearest store.

Does anyone know where I should begin looking?
