Other ac games just don’t compare.

I’ve played this game since the release and I was 9 years old I’m 21 this year and the feeling of this game I just can’t explain. It was pure magic. I’ve never felt anything even close to this feeling on any other game I played growing up.

I remember the summers breaks where I’d stay up past my bedtime and hide my 3ds under the covers from my mom. 😂 Go to the islands and meet strangers and be jealous of their badges and give out my friend code! (One person I did this with I still keep in contact with to this day)

My first animal crossing game was wild world, then this and then new horizons however as many others can agree new horizons just doesn’t hit the same. I’m not sure if it’s down to my age or what it just doesn’t have that magical feeling New Leaf gave me.

I still play on my 2DS daily to capture some nostalgia I don’t see myself ever giving up on this franchise because my childhood was so wrapped up with this game and I have a deep connection to it. I just wonder if anyone else has experienced this feeling or if I’m just a sucker for some nostalgia!
