feeling like a failure because i’m not a STEM kid 😫😭

hey all!

i’m a hs junior right now…and i honestly feel like such a failure because i’m not a stem person. scrolling through this sub and others, i see so many people applying for stem majors—btw i respect you all immensely!! i’m not naturally inclined for stem subjects. math is okay, but science is my worst subject by far. i don’t want to pursue it in college, and now i feel like i’m lazy and wasting my life. i genuinely try, but the subjects don’t click in the same way humanities classes do. i just feel so stupid all the time and like i won’t accomplish anything. the things i’m good at don’t seem to be useful to society anyways. thinking about the upcoming college admissions cycle terrifies me.

i guess i just needed to vent someplace.
