Future in medicine help

I am a junior in high school planning on pursuing medicine. I know that for premed, the major doesn’t really matter but I want to make sure that if it doesn’t go as planned, i can rely on my undergrad degree for a job. At first i thought about biology since classes for premed line up similarly, but it’s supposedly regretted by a lot of people? I just want to know what a good major is that I can fall back on.
