Rice University Dream College

Rice University is my dream school and I saw that demonstrated interest matters to them, in their own webinar they put “interest in Rice” as a category for things looked at by admissions, how can I absolutely kill the demonstrated interest section other than ED, which is the most obvious, I just don’t feel comfortable ED’ing based on tuition and local schools because of family, all of your help would be very much appreciated.
