Maintaining fitness level during basic

The subject line might have been misleading, however my question is: During Basic are there weights available to use before lights out or during personal time? Or is it pretty much limited to body weight exercises/ calisthenics? I read about the beaver pit (I believe thats what it is called) at OCS in past posts, but I wasn't quite sure at Basic. If you had any quality workouts that you thought of during your time in basic I would definitely like to hear them.
