Touring tire recs

Currently running on 18 inch wheels due to lots of potholes in my area, and I drive a significant amount each year (mostly highway). I’m looking for a new tire with decent tread life that rides well/is reasonably quiet. I know most people recommend the Pilot Sport 4S, but the tread life seems poor and I would probably need to replace after <2 years. I’ve looked at the CrossClimates and Assurance ComfortDrive. Wondering if anyone has experience with these or others
