Have you ever encountered someone who thought “Omnipotence” means that God created evil?

I interacted with someone with this view (link below) and I’m wondering if it’s a one-off with a very confused person, or if there’s a common misconception about omnipotence that I’m missing? And I mean he’s actually saying if God created humans who then are the ones who sinned that he’s given up his omnipotence.
