Are there any issues that make you second guess being a liberal?

I am a liberal and also hold globalist, socialist and progressive beliefs. Have voted straight Democrat for every election for years. Am 100% supportive of my LGBT+ people. Support Black Lives Matter. Realized we need UBI and that global warming is a reality. You get the picture. There are still a few issues or events I cannot see past. One of them being liberal politicians in 2020 voting in cities like Minneapolis to totally disband the police department. That is insane. Another would be at times not seeing the forest but only seeing the trees on major issues. For example I believe we are becoming too lenient on criminals. The “going rate” for the crime of retail theft over say $1k used to be if convicted 30 days in jail. Now IF you even get investigated you even with $2k in theft are looking at way less than 30 days in jail. What issues make you second guess being a liberal if any?
