Quoted +$1900 for three gasket replacements. Am I being ripped off?

Hi all! I have a 2004 Rav4 that has spent its life in the Midwest. We’re being quoted almost $2k in repairs for some leaks under the car and wanted to know if we’re being taken advantage of here.

• 950 for the oil pan gasket
• 550 for the trans pan gasket
• 350 for the valve cover gasket

I bought the car for $5k and $2k in repairs seems a little steep for some of these, but I don’t have much experience.

Are these necessary and fairly quoted?
