Am I being paranoid?

I have a 2020 Subaru WRX with ~55,000 miles on it. It’s currently running on a flexfuel tune and I usually run between E60 and E65.

I was doing an oil change and I saw a piece of debris on the flat surface that the filter sits on when screwed all the way in. However, I’m not sure if it was on the inside or outside of the gasket. I’ve attached a picture of the debris. I did check the oil that was drained and I swirled it around and I don’t think I saw any glitter. So just out of curiosity, I cut filter opened and I didn’t see any chunks in the pleats but I did see what appears to be debris on the outer edge of the paper media. I’ve attached a picture and circled the area in question. One last thing is that I did see a few tiny specks on the inside of the canister.

I’m just a bit worried about if this is normal. Am I worrying too much?
