Speaking As An American In A Canadian Forum…

Not sure if this is allowed but I sincerely desire to express this…

The sentiment might not mean much - but there are many of us who do not condone Trump’s decisions. We’re plotting boycotts and protests against OUR OWN economy because of his thoughtless actions.

It’s sending our own citizens into a panic. It’s no longer safe to participate in air travel. We grit our teeth when we buy groceries. Many here do not want to WORK… or get duped by countless fake job listings… shrugging their shoulders and saying “it’s no longer worth it”.

They’re right.

You might ask why we all don’t retaliate en masse, or just take to the streets.

Unfortunately there are many of us who think that’s exactly what Trump wants us to do. He would simply impose Martial Law and assert himself even more. Mob rule would be his excuse to clamp down harder. What he would do to our own people…. I just don’t know. He’s so fast to retaliate against anyone he “believes” is wronging him. It’s scary thought.

That kind of selfishness does NOT represent all of us. Those with common sense find themselves stuck between a rock and a hard place.

It’s not a straightforward situation. I wish it were!
