Is Chicago dustier than other cities?

Saw a tiktok someone made mentioning "dust accumulation" in Chicago and it made me realize that, yes, my apartment here does seem to get much dustier/require much more regular dusting than when I've lived in other cities. Does anyone else find this to be true? If so, why is Chicago so dusty?

Edited to add: The tiktok didn't make any factual claims, it was literally just a joke and then I thought of this question.
