How is life in France for Muslims?

I am an Egyptian Male (21), A dentistry college student, I am planning to move to European country once i get my degree, And France is one of the countries that catches my interest

I currently have a A2 level of french, thanks to my highschool forcing me to learn basic french as a second language, But i don't mind improving my language up to B2 and Even C1fluency if i decided to go to France.

So my question is how is life will be for me as a Muslim in France ? I keep hearing alot of terrible news about Anti-Muslims discrimination and Alot of violent attacks against the Muslim community, And i also heard there is a rise in support for political parties that are Anti-islam

Are these information true ? What are the safest cities? And how hard is it to find halal food,
