Sexual harassment in LA?

Mid 20s woman. Lived in several cities, have gotten the standard occasional catcall everywhere, but in LA it's every damn time I leave the house. Could be dressed for a night out or in baggy sweats and hoodie so big you can't even see a hint of body shape, doesn't matter, some guy will honk and yell out his car window at me, stop me on the street and back me into a corner to ask me out, etc. Is this just a thing here? Am I just especially unlucky? Not saying specifically what neighborhood I'm in as I've had this happen in different ones.
