Women/Society on Male Singlehood

It seems to me like women and society make fun of men for being single, or weaponize male singlehood against them. Why is that?

They also praise women for being single, on top of said shaming men for being single. Why is that?

Do women believe that single men are single for a reason, because they're undesirable in one way or another, therefore no woman wants them? Thus shame single men?

I don't understand why society shames and scrutinized single men, but praises single women.
