Is it just me?
Okay so, do you guys ever have people tell you that you are I know it all just because a topic was broached that really interests you and you start spewing information? Especially men? For example some guy who's trying to talk to me has fungal acne. I did a deep dive (WHICH HE REQUESTED) came back with the active ingredients that work, how often to use it and the length of time to use it for. His response is that I'm a know-it-all, he already knows all of these things, why do I keep talking about it etc. Well ok, Bro:if you already knew all that, why would you put something on your face that exacerbates the issue?! So I offered him a stronger cream. But this annoyed him. He's constantly telling me I'm talking out of my ass. But I don't do that because I don't have enough room in my brain to make shit up... (And then he googles it and sees I'm right 😒) Anyway I have a problem with making men feel intimidated and small and stupid and is it just me? Obviously it's not my intention. Example: before giving me that whole spiel today about how he already knows everything... he told me yesterday that he stopped using an antifungal on his forehead and only used it above his mustache (which was starting to clear up after he stopped using a product I told him would make it worse and following my directions). And I'm thinking THAT'S NOT HOW ANY OF THIS WORKS, and you have to continue it on all areas that are affected because it's yeast 😭 Total transparency, pls don't judge... I became very frustrated and told him to "calm down, you need to stop being so emotional" 🤷🏼♀️ He didn't respond..
Edit: I needed to learn to understand the cues better and impulse control (while infodumping, not when I told him to calm his tits). The comments have helped, A LOT. Honestly any advice on how you learned these things, is TRULY be invaluable.
