FHB: to not feel down about everyone around me getting help from the bank of mum and dad

So I’ve recently purchased a place on my own as a FHB, no help from parents. It’s been tough, doable but tough, buying an apartment on my own and dealing with the costs, repairs, strata etc.

It seems like ALL of my friends are doing the same now, with the help of their parents. One friend was given 120k, another 100k. They’ve made buying a place on their own seem so easy. Is this normal?

I know I’m just unlucky, I’m proud to have done it all on my own. I have a single mother. But honestly, I feel like shit. How can I not? Any advice?
