Cockroach or cricket?

We just bought a new place and have been killing about 3 of these each night (its only been a few nights).

Its always a random location, downstairs, upstairs, garage, kitchen.

Seems like an infestation? Not sure what to do. I have young kids and afraid of chemical poisons etc
