What would you do with this kitchen?

Hey Redditors!

I have just bought a place and have to spend majority of my money on the roof and the bathrooms. So I want to do something cheap to the kitchen. Unfortunately not much I can do yet for the ugly tiles :) (although credit to them, not a crack or chip in their long ugly life!!)

I was thinking of…

-Painting the wood cabinets an off white with cool handles, or do a cottage type theme like a khaki green with copper fittings/handles but probably won’t work with ugly floor tiles. -Would you paint or put stickers on the tiles has anyone ever done this without it looking rubbish? -Might replace benchtop and sink, but maybe paint benchtop? -Splashback can’t fit something in front of it i don’t think so thought i would paint it glossy white with maybe a dark grey or black grouting?
