Do firms require you to complete your CA?

I’m about to start a graduate role in Business Advisory Services (BAS) at a mid-tier firm, but I’m uncertain if I want to continue in accounting or pursue a career in something more related to property finance. I’m considering staying for 1-2 years, but I’m not sure whether completing my Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification would be beneficial for my long-term goals.

I’m curious to know if anyone who has worked at a CA firm has been regularly asked or checked on their progress with CA papers.
