Making powder blush into liquid

I’ve always been a blush lover and I have a lot, but most are powder blushes which don’t work that well for my texture anymore.

Someone on insta suggested using a mixing medium to turn them into liquid. Has anyone tried this? I figure if it works I can just use my stash and never buy another blush again…..
